Alessio is a professional landscape and seascape photographer based in London, and originally from Italy. Being a Global Ambassador for NiSi since 2015, he collaborated with the brand as an advocate for the high quality filters NiSi produce, helping with new ideas to add to the product line like the Medium GND and some features available on the V5pro and V6 Holders.

He started photography when he was 18 with Astrophotography, then moved into Nightscapes, creating beautiful Star-Trails and Milky Way pictures from his homeland, Sardinia.  He then moved into long exposure photography for sunsets and sunrises, and with the help of filters from NiSi, he found his genre with Seascape and Landscapes.

“I love being by the ocean and on the edge of a cliff to capture the beautiful vistas the United Kingdom has to offer. I love every season but my favourites are Spring with the amazing blooming on the coast of Pink Seathifts, and Winter, when the sun stays low most of the day, creating interesting situations with light and shadows,  and beautiful colours in the sky for sunrises and sunsets”.

Not a big fan of Social media, he was able to create a good following from Italy and UK and become known for his picture with an amazing Milky Way rising from St Michael’s Mount in Cornwall. He’s ambassador for NiSi and Fotopro Tripod and runs workshop in Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, South and North Wales, Scotland and Italy.

Alessio shoots mostly in Landscape orientation but some scenes deserve a portrait mode as shown in the Dead’s man Bay photo here.

“I love to show the big vistas and implementing a natural frame that describe the whole location in one single picture.”
