“When I was 16, I picked up my first digital camera and I knew straight away that it was the beginning of a fun and rewarding journey. I instantly found myself outdoors more, especially in the evenings when I would race down to my local beach to capture the sunset”.

Completely self-taught she now takes pride in sharing her passion and knowledge with others through her YouTube channel which has a large following, and through photography workshops.

“Sharing Scotland with the world is a real passion of mine and I now also work with various Scottish companies and organisations to promote it. Coming this year I have various collaborations with accommodation providers as well as projects with Scottish tourism boards. Creating inspiring content about my home country and the importance of getting out into nature allows me to do something positive with my time here and inspiring others to do the same is what fuels my passion”.

Having been brought up by the sea, she is always at her happiest when shooting seascapes and filters play a massive part in allowing her to create her images. Kim was a Lee user until she discovered Nisi and like many others found them to be a huge benefit both in image quality and engineering.
