This event is hosted by Nisi UK Ambassador John Starkey, who’s knowledge of the above location is second to none so you will be in for a great day of learning how to get the best from waterfall photography just by using the Nisi Polariser.

John has a great eye for composition which is why we call him Mr Waterfall. With is knowledge and understanding you will capture some stunning images

This event is free and open to all levels of photographers. To get the best from this free days tuition a tripod and wellington boots are essential.

Hadrians Wall – Sycamore Gap

Mali Photography Meetup – In partnership with Lenslight Photographic – NiSi Filters UK

Join me at the amazing Hadrian’s wall, Sycamore gap and Crag Lough for a day of photography and creative fun! This location has so much to offer and if we get the conditions this could be the makings of one of my best meetups!
We will start at around 3-4pm and stay the course until around 10 maybe midnight. Lots of time to find position and great compositions ready for sunset and later some stars in the sky! Fingers crossed for the right conditions. Bring something warm to drink and plenty to eat and the right clothing for winter conditions.
There is a charge for parking / £10 a day. I don’t have a problem with paying this as the money goes to the upkeep and local area. Be respectful to the area and leave no footprints.

Summer Solstice-Dorset

Summer Solstice Meet Up with Nisi UK Ambassador Tom Ormerod – Join Tom to chat, walk and take pictures. This is a chance to shoot sunset for the Summer Solstic and learn from Tom composition and use of Nisi Filters.

We’ll meet by being the Hiker Cafe by the picnic benches and head down to the Mudeford Beach huts for sunset.

Llandudno Event 

Saturday 15 June 2019  2pm – 10pm

Join Mali Davies for a photographic event on the West Side of Llandudno, North Wales. There will be opportunities for shooting across the bay towards Anglesey with Snowdonia as a backdrop, as well as chances to try Nisi filters and instruction from Mali.

Liverpool Waterfront 

Wednesday 5 June 2019  7pm – 10pm

Join Ray Mcbride for an evening at the Royal Albert Docks and Canning Dock shooting Blue Hour and reflections in the water. There will be chance to try out the Nisi Natural Night filter, as well as have instruction from Ray if needed.

Meols Masterclass 

Friday 10 May 2019  6pm – 9pm

Why not join Ray Mcbride for a lovely evening shooting boats after an 8.73 met tide has just gone out, hopefully leaving some nice pools for photographing reflections. High tide is 15-46 which gives us a 6pm start to get on the beach, wellingtons are definitely required. Sunset 20-57. Look forward to meeting you.

Llandwyn Island-Anglesey

A day on the stunning Island of Llandwyn on the South West coast of Anglesey. Your chance to meet fellow photographers and shoot the famous Twr Mawr lighthouse as well as other scenes on the Island. A magnificent location with plenty to shoot, we will be on the Island all day until sunset.

North Norfolk Coast – Olympus

Sat 12 April 3pm – 14 April 2019 9pm

A weekend on the North Norfolk Coast. Some may wish to stay, or visit for the day on the first day. Itinerary will change depending on light. This weekend will be all about shooting the beautiful North Coast including locations such as Cromer Pier.

This event is in conjunction with Olympus OMD Landscapes and the focus will be on Olympus shooters.

Blackpool & Mary’s Shell, Cleveleys

Sat 23 March 2019 – 10am All day

A day shooting the icon sculpture Mary’s Shell in Cleveleys. High water shots will provide the interest with hight tide being 12 Noon. We will then move on to Blackpool for some long exposure work and sunset at the pier.

Moreton & Meols Beach 

Fri 2 February 2019 – 12 Noon – 1800.

An afternoon shooting the Breakers at Moreton with a very high tide 10.7M. We will use Nisi ND filters to try different shutter speeds. Then move on to Meols to shoot the boats.

A Day in the Peak District 

Sat 12 January 2019 – 10am All day

A day in the rugged Peak District, with high ridges, valleys and gritstone rocks, will will spend the day looking at composition and balancing exposures on Higger Tor and Stanage Edge.

Malham Cove North Yorks

Sat 19 January 2019 – 10am All day

A full day shooting around amalgam Cove, North Yorkshire. We will meet at the car park and then spend the day shooting Gordale Scar, Janet’s Foss, Scalebar Foss, and the famous Lone Tree. It will be a busy but enjoyable day. Help is at hand with Nisi Filters to create dramatic images and balance exposures. With snow it will be a challenge but that’s what makes it fun.

A Day at Derwentwater

A day on Derwentwater, Lake District, starting at dawn. There are plenty of photo opportunities and different techniques to try. We will shoot the Sunken Gate on Crow Park, the boats and jetties, the Millennium Stones and also Isthmus Bay at sunset.

Albert Dock Liverpool

Join ray for an evening shoot around Liverpool’s Albert Dock and waterfront to capture the city lights and reflections using the NiSi Natural Night Filter.

Meols Beach Low Tide 

Sun 7 October 2018 – 2pm-6pm

Meeting at Meols Beach on the Wirral we will make our way around the boats at low tide. I will show you how to create dynamic dramatic images using low angles, ND filters and reflections.

Autumn Water in the Peak District

Join Phil at Wyming Brook, one of the hidden gems of the area and a magical location which looks like it came from a fairy tale. Along the 1m brook Phil will show you his techniques to capture beautiful Autumnal water scenes.

Llandudno Pier Twilight

Sun 1 September 2018 – 4pm-twilight

We will meet at the car park in Llandudno and walk over to the pier. Descending the steps to an incoming tide, we will have time to shoot the pier at twilight to create images with atmosphere. Please bring wellies. Phil and Ray will be on hand to demonstrate creative techniques with Nisi filters.

Talacre Lighthouse North Wales

Sun 24 September 2018 – 1pm-7.30pm

We will meet at Talacre and then walk down to the beach to shoot the famous Point Of Ayr lighthouse, a stunning lighthouse standing on the wide open beach. High Tide is 2.30pm so we will be shooting the lighthouse standing in the water with plenty of creative opportunities.

Perch Rock – New Brighton

Sat 29 September 2018 – 5pm-5pm

A sunset event at Perch Rock, New Brighton, we will shoot the lighthouse using the breakers as lead in lines. Help in on hand to show you how to capture sunsets and create long exposures.

Llyn Ogwen – Snowdonia

Sun 19 August 2018 – 12 Noon-Sunset

Llyn Ogwen in the Snowdonia National Park is a perfect location for shooting many images. We will stay around the area, shooting waterfalls, the lake with views towards Mt. Tryfan and walk up the path to shoot the wooden bridge and river, with the spectacular background of the Glyders.

Dinorwic Quarry

Sun 22 July 2018 – 2pm – 6pm

The abandoned Dinorwic Quarry high above Llyn Padarn offers incredible views and shooting opportunities with a difference. With the forecast looking grey it is the perfect chance to capture the capture the slate mines with moody images. For those wishing to stay longer we will also visit the Lone Tree on Lyn Padarn at sunset.

Nash Point Sunset
